Main portal to the Bogh'é-yé Shah-é Cheragh (Mausoleum of the King of the Lamp) in Shiraz; a portion of the dome is visible at the right. This monument was erected beginning in the 14th century to house the tomb of Sayyed Mir Ahmad, who was killed in Shiraz in 835 AD, and is one of the most important Shi'ite places of pilgrimage.
