Ballapousla National School
April 2nd, 1996
On Tuesday April 2nd, the Tree Walk came to our
school. Some of the walkers spoke to the senior
classes explaining recycling and the benefits
of planting trees in our environment. The children were
all very impressed by the generosity and
enthusiasm of the young people and their
unselfish work to preserve our precious
environment. They are to be thanked by all
for their great work. A native Irish oak tree
was planted in the grounds of the school by
the tree walkers.
With gratitude,
Ciaran Conlan, Principal
