This page allows you to perform various kinds of "runs" to determine if you are able to retroactively influence the output of a hardware random number generator based on radioactive decay. Your browser must support Java™ to run this experiment; if you do not see a swinging pendulum at the left of this paragraph, your browser either does not implement Java, or Java applets have been disabled. Fewer and fewer browsers support Java: if you have a modern browser, you'll probably be able to use the HTML5 version of this experiment.
If the pendulum appears, but does not swing smoothly from side
to side (for example, it stops and starts apparently at random,
or the speed with which it's swinging abruptly changes), other tasks
running on your computer may be using resources Java needs to do
smooth animation. If the irregular motion bothers you, try
closing other applications and see if the motion then becomes
smooth.
