Also near the airport is this cove with a cave that's home to rock paintings.

Descending into the cave, we see the rock paintings at the left. The green markings in the middle are natural.

It's a little hard to make out the paintings, but they're clearly artificial. Materials available on the island made for a limited palette of colours for such work.

The rock formations on the left are completely natural but struck me as a surrealist's vision of tormented souls. Click the image to view the enlargement for more detail.
