Your Sky Updated

An updated version of Your Sky is now in production at Fourmilab. This update incorporates the following changes:

• Comments embedded in the first (name) line of MPEC orbital elements could cause the parser to fail. Scanning of orbital elements was modified to elide comments on the name line.
• The maximum image size has been increased to 4096×4096 pixels.
• The user can now choose to display IAU three letter abbreviations for constellations instead of their full names.
• A new “Font scale” box allows the users to adjust the size of legends which appear on the sky chart within a range of 0.1 through 3.0 times the default size.

Changes corresponding to these modifications have been made in the relevant custom request and help file pages. This update should be 100% compatible with existing custom URL requests, including those for dynamic images embedded in external Web pages.
