That's right, as of this point AutoCAD-80 had the ability to recover from a crash and restore the drawing to the last REGEN. Unfortunately, the in-memory paging of AutoCAD-86 precluded an efficient implementation of this capability and, to this day, AutoCAD-86 lacks an automatic crash recovery facility.
